After a 10 day hiatus from exercise, I made the decision to hit the athletics track this morning. Initially my plan was a quick 10 minute session of cardio and then leave.
Time of arrival: 9.50 AM
Departure time: 10.50 AM
So 10 minutes turned into 60 minutes- well time does fly when you’re having fun! And for me personally that is the foundation to all types of exercise. There has to be some kind of ENJOYMENT. If you hate the gym why go?! Stop that direct debit immediately and find another type of physical activity that you enjoy.
So why was I having so much fun today and why did I add an extra 50 minutes onto my exercise plan?
